Response to Outbuilding Fire

At 11:33 am today, Dane County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Brooklyn Fire and EMS, responded to a structure fire at 419 Union Road in the town of Oregon.

The property owner had been using a torch in an outbuilding and believed everything had been extinguished. The fire reignited, and flames quickly engulfed the building. The building is considered a total loss, valued at approximately $25,000. No injuries were reported.
