Dane County Executive Melissa Agard Announces New Senior Staff Appointment

DANE COUNTY – Dane County Executive Melissa Agard announced today the addition of Lacy Fox to her Executive Office staff. Fox most-recently served as Government Affairs Director for Dane County.

 

Fox is a native of northcentral Wisconsin, and has lived in Dane County for nearly 20 years. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee. Prior to serving as the County’s Government Affairs Director, Fox was chief of staff to a ranking senate member of the state legislature’s Joint Committee on Finance.

“Lacy brings a wealth of knowledge in state and local government, along with a deep commitment to public service,” said Dane County Executive Melissa Agard. “Her experience navigating complex policy issues and building strong relationships will be a tremendous asset to our team. I’m excited to welcome Lacy to the Executive Office and look forward to the impact she will have as we continue delivering results for the people of Dane County.”

 

In addition to her professional experiences, Fox has an extensive history of public service and leadership. She served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Women’s Network and has been a mentor for their Policy Institute program, which teaches Wisconsin women about the legislative process and advocacy. She is also involved in several social work academic programs, serving in advisory roles, supervising field students and teaching.

 

Fox lives in Sun Prairie with her husband and their rescue dog, Bonnie.
