Fatal Crash

 

Madison, WI- November 27, 2025 - At approximately 9:05 A.M., Dane County Sheriff’s Deputies, Cottage Grove PD, State Patrol, Deer Grove EMS, and Cottage Grove Fire and EMS responded to a semi vs vehicle crash at County Highway N and County Highway MN, in the Town of Cottage Grove.

 

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene and traffic was rerouted for several hours to allow crash investigators to reconstruct the crash. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the family. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
