Dane County Regional Airport Marks Busiest Summer Travel Season on Record

Madison, WI – Dane County Regional Airport (MSN) has officially recorded its busiest summer travel season ever, continuing a strong trend of growth and demand among Madison-area travelers. From May through August 2025, total passenger volume reached 854,330, up from 814,545 during the same period in 2024.

This summer’s growth was driven by strong leisure and business demand, expanded seasonal nonstop service, and record-setting passenger totals in both July and August. The airport also experienced its busiest week in history in mid-August. Despite the record volumes, operations remained smooth, with no major checkpoint delays and consistently positive traveler feedback.
