Event Description
Spend a day diving into the world of land restoration and learn how including native prairie can benefit your property.
This workshop is aimed at those who currently are or may be interested in converting Dane County cropland to native prairie or looking to enhance existing prairies on their land. Speakers and interactive sessions will cover establishment, maintenance and plant identification - including an overview of tools and equipment needed and a guided prairie walk. Participants will have the opportunity to connect experts in the field as well as other landowners that have successfully incorporated prairie on their property. Lunch will be provided.
Space is limited to 50 participants, please register online for the workshop here. Registered participants will receive an invasive plant field guide and be entered to win tools and other raffle prizes. Registration closes Friday, July 14th.
